With its intuitive, flexible platform, businesses of any size can quickly generate, manage, and update facts panels while staying compliant with the ever evolving regulations in the US Marketplace—saving time, reducing costs, reducing labeling and packaging design errors, and simplifying the entire labeling approval process from start to finish. Panelgea® currently supports facts panel generation for Foods and Beverages (Nutrition Facts Panel) and Dietary Supplements (Supplement Facts Panel) for such consumer products in the US Marketplace. The platform will be expanding to encompass other CPG’s currently supported by the compliance experts at REJIMUS, INC.

Panelgea® currently only offers panel formats for US markets in English only, however, support for Canadian, European, Mexican, and Australian markets will become available in the near future, including for dual language presentations where desired or required.

Panelgea® is designed for optimal performance on desktop and tablet devices. While it can run on any modern web browser, Google Chrome and Safari deliver the best experience. For the most comfortable viewing and functionality, we recommend using a minimum screen width of 1280 pixels or higher.

Panelgea® purposely was designed to ensure confidentiality of you and your data at all times. Anonymized account and panel information is gathered to generate useful analytics help improve user experience, guide new feature development and much more. No one, not even us, has access to your ingredients or your panel records directly. There is a designed firewall that prevents our direct access thus any technical support for the platform requires screensharing with the end user, other than for basic user rights or accessibility and subscription support.

Connectivity options to any third party software will be available to Enterprise accounts only. There will be a one-time setup fee associated with the integration for exporting of panel records. Contact us directly for more information.

Options are available for Enterprise accounts that are interested in having a hosted application behind a corporate firewall. Contact us for more details.

Technical

While there might be other tools out there, Panelgea® is the only platform that guarantees compliant Supplement Facts Panels for Dietary Supplements with Proprietary Blends that you can create and customize to your needs. Even with complex Botanicals and/or Probiotics, Proprietary Blends are easy to create and manage. Furthermore, Panelgea® has unique coding to easily handle Nested Blends, yes, you read that right, blends within blends, on a given supplement facts panel.

The Industry Herbs database is Panelgea’s comprehensive botanical nominclature lookup tool, featuring nearly 3000 botanicals. Developed in collaboration with Alkemist Labs, this searchable database is seamlessly integrated into the compliance checks for ensuring botanical ingredient records are correct, and presented properly on all applicable facts panels generated. Whether you’re unsure of a botanical’s Latin binomial or its standardized common name or alternative name options, the lookup makes it easy to find and confirm the correct spelling and terminology. This ensures consistency across records and helps streamline formulation, labeling, and regulatory processes.

You can currently export your facts panel artwork file as JPG, PNG, PDF, or SVG file types.

One of the truly unique features that sets Panelgea apart from all other facts panel tools available today, is the ability to export your panel artwork in SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format. With SVG file types, you can further perform custom designs and word editing directly, if desired, in the image file itself using your favorite design tool like Adobe Illustrator. These are “print ready” file types that can be downloaded and sent straight to the designer, who can drop it directly into the label artwork – no more hand redrawing or recreating tedious panels to fit your packaging. This eliminates all unnecessary back-and-forth, speeds up the label approval process in-house or with your contract manufacturer, and ensures every detail is correct before label design finalization.

Yes, you can bulk import ingredients into Panelgea® using our import template. Once you’ve added your ingredients and uploaded them to the platform, you will still need to review each imported entry to confirm the accuracy of the information before using them in panels.

For Enterprise clients with numerous ingredients, we can provide a one-time conversion and import service to get on the platform. Custom API connectivity services to established third-party software are also an option for Enterprise Tier 2 and Tier 3 customers only.

Panelgea® Verified Ingredients are branded ingredients thoroughly vetted by REJIMUS, INC. for approval on the platform, to ensure accuracy of data and regulatory status that users can trust and/or consider formulating with in the creation of your panels. Each Panelgea® Verified Ingredient record comes prefilled with complete nutrition information, making it easy to add directly into your formulas. All such ingredient records are linked to a Panelgea® Verified Supplier, whose contact details are provided should you wish to directly request quotes or explore partnerships.

Yes. In the My Ingredients section, each ingredient record includes a dropdown that lists all panels where that ingredient is currently used. If you edit an ingredient record, every panel containing that ingredient will automatically switch to Draft status even if the panel was already generated. This ensures you review and verify the updated information before regenerating the panel.

Yes. Each ingredient record includes a field where you can assign a supplier to that ingredient along with the ingredient code. If the supplier does not yet exist, you can simply create it directly from within the ingredient record. Once an ingredient is linked to a supplier, the Supplier section will display a dropdown list of all ingredients associated with that supplier for ease of reference.

No, all ingredient records imported or created are exclusively yours. Unlike many other known panel management tools that tout expansive libraries of tens of thousands of ingredients to select from, none of those providers qualify that data, thus numerous entries are subject to the whim of other unknown users modifying them, or there are entries which may have completely irrelevant nutrient data or are excessively duplicative. Only you or any team members with permitted access, under your user admin account, may modify or duplicate ingredient information. Panelgea® Verified Ingredients, are ingredient records which can only be viewed and included in a panel record, as maintain by REJIMUS, Inc. Imported USDA Ingredient records are standardized to the associated NDB only, but can be subsequently modified or copied therefrom.

Yes and no. You will need to create most of your new ingredient records, or import them from your existing system and then approve each ingredient record for use in Panelgea®. If you do not have all nutritional data on your ingredient, the ingredient record can still be created, but for certain panels, you will be required to either fill that information in or override it, in order to be generated. Panelgea® Verified Ingredients will be available for use as introduced into the platform. For Food and Beverages primarily, USDA Ingredients can be searched in real-time at any time, and imported directly which will populate the entirety of an ingredient record that is ready for use. Furthermore, ingredient records cannot be shared with any other outside accounts, only users under the same account.

Panelgea® has unique coding that allows a user to either enter laboratory nutritional analysis on their formula or recipe to generate a facts panel, or incorporate the theoretical data from each of the individual ingredient records in the system that are incorporated into a panel record. Laboratory Nutritional Analysis automatically overrides any theoretical values derived from individual ingredient records. If there is no laboratory nutritional analysis data available, the individual ingredient records must be complete, subject to user input, in order for it to properly display a compliant panel. If a particular ingredient record is lacking any data, there is a control check in place to alert the user of any ingredient with missing data prior to panel record generation.

While standalone vitamins and minerals can be considered food ingredients and/or dietary ingredients, the specific regulations governing these nutrients being presented on a given facts panel are anything but traditional. Owing to the specific declarations, presentation and rounding rule requirements, we created custom coding to ensure the guaranteed compliance of facts panels accounting for such nutrients being added to a given formula or recipe. This distinction, works in conjunction with other any other ingredients with different Classifications that may contain the same or similar forms of these given nutrients so they are always presented correctly on the desired panel. If a ingredient record for a Vitamin or Mineral is not setup properly using the correct Classification, it will likely display incorrectly on the generated facts panel and require an update to the ingredient record in use or the creation of a new ingredient record under the right Classification.
